A Day In May

The bread that comes out of my bread-maker is really tall sometimes! So why not make double eggs with a hat on? This is honey whole wheat.
Daddy made tortas for lunch with left over carne asada and al pastor, refried beans, queso fresco, and crema.
It had been raining off and on for four days!! The swiss chard that wanted to go to seed grew almost two feet!!
Thumper and Harry got to run around the yard. They are getting along much better now. Thumper is taking a break.
We ripped up all the swiss chard. SIX pounds!!!!!
My friend gave us some "Eye of the goat" beans to try to grow. so we planted two tee-pees of them. They originate from northern Mexico. You can get them here. Beautiful beans!
Dinner was Cucumber, Mango salad with Honey Chili Dressing
and Chili spiced Pork.  The recipe is in the new June Everyday Food Magazine.
 Kid Approved!
